Offers free home security surveys and crime prevention information from screened and trained volunteers for county residents. Volunteers wear uniforms, carry identification, and come to your home only by request.

Smoke alarm program provides and installs battery-operated (not hardwired) alarms free for seniors and people with disabilities; will replace battery yearly if called.
