About Tech Smart Knox Seniors
Older adults today are living through an era of unprecedented technological change. They are pioneers in a rapidly evolving, internet-driven world of healthcare, commerce, communication, and daily living. Yet, resources and support often lag behind innovation. Barriers like cost and limited access can hit especially hard for those already isolated or disconnected. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated this shift to online life, further exposing the systemic challenges faced by older adults without digital skills, access, or assistance.
The CAC Office on Aging, in partnership with Tech Goes home, is working to close this digital divide through its Tech Smart Knox Seniors initiative. This program provides adults 60+ with digital training and tools to build the confidence and skills needed to navigate today’s technology.
