About Senior Care Calls
Since 2020, Senior Care Calls has worked to alleviate loneliness and isolation among older adults through supportive phone calls. Volunteers make weekly calls to their matched older adult that are friendly, upbeat, respectful, and reassuring. Senior Care Call volunteers can provide this much-needed support without ever leaving their home.
Senior Care Calls was established by the CAC Office on Aging’s Retired & Senior Volunteer Program in response to the Covid-19 pandemic to combat isolation among older adults.

Eligibility
If you meet the following criteria, volunteer with Senior Care Calls!
- Knox County, TN resident
- Age 55+
- Willing to call the same older adult weekly for a minimum of 6 months
