About Personal Emergency Response System
A Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) helps older adults stay safe and independent—bringing comfort to them and peace of mind to their loved ones. With the simple press of a button, help is always close at hand. Our program offers these life-enhancing devices at low or no cost to eligible older adults. By partnering with VRI, we’re able to provide reliable, easy-to-use equipment that helps people live confidently and securely at home.
More than 1 in 4 older adults fall each year, but less than half tell their doctors or family members.
Falling once doubles the chances of falling again, often leading to serious injuries.
