About Affordable Medicine Options for Seniors

Affordable Medicine Options for Seniors (AMOS) is a free service that helps individuals on Medicare—or those nearing eligibility— make informed decisions about Medicare plans, explore patient assistance and Extra Help programs, lower prescription costs, and more.

All AMOS staff and volunteers are certified through the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), ensuring that services are accurate, unbiased, and reliable. AMOS provides objective guidance, empowering individuals to make decisions that best suit their needs without pressure or outside influence.

    Medicare Open Enrollment – During this time, individuals with Medicare can review and make changes to their health and prescription drug coverage for the following year

Medicare Part D

If you are seeking help with Medicare Part D, download the Medicare Part D Prescription Plan Worksheet.

Submitting the completed document before your appointment is recommended. You may turn in your completed document one of the following ways:

  • Online – Scan and email to amos@knoxseniors.org
