Nonprofit behavioral health provider in East Tennessee, offering a full spectrum of services across 30+ counties for children, adults, and older adults. For older adults in particular, McNabb offers:
– Crisis stabilization care through its 24/7 Mobile Crisis Unit and EmPATH crisis stabilization units, available to all adults experiencing psychiatric emergencies.
– Outpatient mental health counseling, including therapy, medication management, and ongoing support. Older adults can access these through Safety Net programs funded by Medicaid/TennCare, Medicare, or sliding fees for low-income individuals.
– Supportive housing for older adults, such as the Dogwood Springs development – a 50-unit affordable independent-living community offering supportive services.
– Mobile health services, including preventative screenings and case management, that help reach vulnerable rural older adults with both medical and behavioral health support.
McNabb combines crisis intervention, outpatient treatment, substance use disorder care, supportive housing, and mobile health outreach to meet the complex needs of older adults. Patients can be referred by self, family, or professionals.
