Holiday Gifts for Homebound Seniors

Holiday Gifts for Homebound Seniors

Donate a holiday gift bag (or bags) to brighten Christmas morning for homebound seniors.

Each year the community provides gift bags to be delivered to Mobile Meals recipients on Christmas Day. Often these gifts are the only ones these seniors will get. Although the items are not of great value, they are priceless to those who receive them, along with a hot meal. You can participate by donating &/or volunteering.

Gifts: Fill a medium size gift bag/s (approx. 13” x 11”) for each client gift donation you wish to make.

Volunteer: Shifts are available Mon Dec. 17—Thurs Dec. 20 to help sort and organize gifts. Extra help delivering meals during the holiday season is also needed. Contact shelly.woodrick@knoxseniors.org or call (865) 524-2786.
